Portfolio review
We look at complete weddings, not highlight reels: at least three full events, start to finish, so we know the work is consistent.

Documents & insurance
Business registration, current liability insurance and a client contract with clear deposit, cancellation and delivery terms.

We talk to recent couples and to other vendors who have worked the same rooms. How someone treats a coordinator at 11 pm tells us a lot.
